Pizza

I’m spinning a pizza crust, round and flat

It didn’t seem as difficult as all that

A little flour so it doesn’t stick to the pan

Push up the edges and your ready again

Toss around some bits of meat, cheese and veggies

Right on the sauce that is there already

Life is like a pizza, it can go any way

You never know your taste day to day

But sometimes someone sticks an anchovy in the mix

Making it as enjoyable as munching sticks

So you learn to know the ingredients for your taste

So your pizza (your life), doesn’t end up a waste

But of course you must trust the ingredients first

Or the air bubbles in the crust may just burst

Splattering sauce and veggies into your face

Making your pizza and life a different place

And oven temperature, whatever you choose

Better be right or again you will lose

Ingredients for a pizza, or for your life

Must stick to the cheese to make it right

Something like pineapple may be good to you

But it’s not for someone else to do

So pick your spices, meat and sauce well

And may your pizza not go all to hell.
