Sad, pathetic, a life without a dream
hardly worth living, it might very well seem
Of course there have been some random dreams
But without fulfillment, those unfulfilled schemes
plans that have never and will never be
sights and experiences never to be seen

But it is true that we all have these failures
times and images like bad movie trailers
Although dreams are usually happy and pleasant
when unfulfilled, they might be no longer relevant
A plan for the mind to escape most of the present
A gleeful abstraction that we might happily resent

but without such dalliances to believe for a time
the escape from the real world, ever sublime
a travel through vistas, only imagined not true
but a heaven-sent attempt just to make do
to free you for a time when hope is so high
without reality stepping in to deny

So let’s go with some dreaming on a daily trip
where there isn’t a hindrance on which one might slip
with clouds in the air and wind in our wings
doing quite unbelievable, abnormal things
to come down to real life for only one gain
so that in comparison, we can soar once again

I am a poet/writer with a need for words. There are so many out there that I haven't used yet. They define all reality and mine when you read those from me.
