Over The Hill

Rising up from the side of youth

Climbing the hill of understanding

Surmounting the crest of confusion

Standing on the hilltop of clarity

Basking in the sunshine of joy

Reflecting the heat of love

Sliding down the glassy slope

Toeing the treacherous decline

Suffering shadows until darkness falls

About Barbara Blackcinder

I am a poet/writer with a hunger for words. There are so many out there that I haven't used yet. They define all reality and especially mine when you read those from me.
