Dad Be Nimble

Dad be nimble,

Dad be quick,

Dad jumped over

the living stick

Escaped the living

Gone with the dead

What could now be

Inside your head

We all play with candles

We all get burned

But in the meantime

There’s lessons learned

And hopefully

We pass them down

For those of us

Still on the ground

About Barbara Blackcinder

I am a poet/writer with a need for words. There are so many out there that I haven't used yet. They define all reality and mine when you read those from me.
