People want people, a herd if they could

Support from a crowd, it’s understood

We all want a group to call our own

A family of strangers we want for our home

We hope for everyone to agree

A small little clan that thinks just like me

But the crowd thins quickly, goes other ways

It seems they leave with the passage of days

And you think its cause you don’t think alike

And that you are sure that you are right

But it’s only true that they have their own tree

It’s only that they look for their own kind of key

There isn’t any reason to despise their way

We all need to express our own things to say

About Barbara Blackcinder

I am a poet/writer with a need for words. There are so many out there that I haven't used yet. They define all reality and mine when you read those from me.

  1. So this lays out the current experience

Think you could write another verse that projects how folks might hold together even with radical differences??
